BEILITE | The first Chinese breaker brand to land in Antarctica
Antarctica, known as the seventh continent, is the last continent to be discovered on Earth and the only uninhabited continent. Antarctica is the coldest continent in the world. It is understood that the temperature in the inland area is usually between -70℃ and -40℃, and the temperature in the coastal area is between -30℃ and -15℃, and water freezes into ice.
For those who dare to challenge their limits, Antarctica is a dream place! For products, it is a great place to test quality! After all, if the quality can pass the test in Antarctica, where humans cannot live for the time being, it can probably be invincible in other known places on Earth.
Some time ago, Beilite accepted this challenge and lived up to expectations by succeeding in the challenge, becoming the first "Made-in-China" breaker brand to carry out crushing infrastructure in Antarctica.
On November 5, 2021, the Beilite BLTB-200 and its big brother excavator, the Liugong 50-ton 956EHD, boarded the "Xuelong 2" together and sailed across the ocean to China's Antarctic Great Wall Station for scientific research. This is also the first time that China's large excavators and breakers have landed in Antarctica.
China's Antarctic Great Wall Station is the first scientific research station established by China in Antarctica. King George Island, where the Great Wall Station is located, is the largest island in the South Shetland Islands. 85% of the island is covered with ice and snow, and the surface is composed of pebbles and gravel, with an average permafrost layer below 1.2 meters.
The BLTB-200 that participated in this competition is Beilite's star product. It has been supported by users for its advantages such as strong stability, strong striking force and long service life. This time its performance is as dazzling as always - even in extreme working conditions such as hurricanes above level 12, continuous snowfall, and instantaneous wind speeds of up to 34m/s, Beilite BLTB-200 operates 24 hours a day, 720 hours a day, 30 days a year, and successfully helps excavators complete crushing infrastructure projects.
